This is a quick reference on how to show established tcp connections using the netstat command on Linux Based Operating Systems.

1. netstat

root@GNS3-Server:~# netstat
Active Internet connections (w/o servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address           Foreign Address         State
tcp        0      0 172.16.253.1:3080       172.16.253.1:43486      ESTABLISHED
